The Chief State Solicitor's Office

The removal and replacement of the heating system at the Chef State Solicitors Office was carried out during the night. The building remained fully operational during the course of the works. As a requirement of the office, due to the nature of the work carried out there, all personnel on the project required garda vetting.

As the plantroom was located on the roof level of a 3 storey building, a crane was required to remove all the old damaged equipment and deliver the new replace equipment. Old system was removed in section across each floor

Scope of Works:
  • Decommission and remove 2 cast iron boilers
  • Decommission and remove old flue
  • Decommission and remove full heating system across 3 floors
  • Supply & Installation of 4 new fully modulating wall hung gas boiler (800kW total)
  • Supply & Installation of new Geberit carbon steel pipework
  • Supply & Installation of new Merriott radiator in all office
  • Supply & Installation of 316 stainless steel flue
  • Supply & Installation of new twin head heating pumps
  • Supply & Installation of new gas mains
